Itinerary
Day 1 :
Arrival and Addis Ababa City Tour
Today you will explore the capital city of Ethiopia and center of the African Union as well Many non African diplomats ,Addis Ababa. During your tour you will visit the national museum where Lucy is located , Entoto park -best view point to see the city , Trinity church and Merkato - the biggest open market in Africa.
Overnight ,Jupiter International Hotel
Day 2 :
Fly to Jink and Jinka Village
on arrival at Jinka airport transfer to hotel and after lunch, we will visit the Jinka museum and the beautiful Ari tribe village. O/n Jinka
Day 3 :
Jinka-Visit Mursi tribes -Jinka - Turmi
Early in the morning , we drive 72km to Mursi via the Mago national park home to indigenous plants ,head to Mursi tribes and their villages, one of the unique tribes who still have a leap plate and lives in the upper part of Mago national park. Then, we drove back to Jinka for lunch. In the afternoon, again we drove south west of Jinka to Turmi which is the heart of Hammer Tribes. O/n Turmi in lodge
Day 4 :
Turmi-Dassanech - Hammer village -Turmi
In the morning, we drove 72km to Omorate to visit the last tribes of omo valley, the dassanech tribes and their villages settled close to Ethio-kenya border. we traverse here by local boat. The omo river flows till lake turkana kenya. We drove back to Turmi for lunch then late afternoon visited the lovely hammer village with the beautiful sunset. O/n Turmi
Day 5 :
Turmi-Karo-Dimeka-Konso
To day we will leave our hotel early in the morning then we drive 65km from turmi to see the Karo tribes who settled near by the omo river then back to turmi and continue our drive to Konso then stop at small hammer town Dimeka to see the biggest market of the tribes and held at Saturday. continue to konso via the woyto spectacular roads and arrive at konso late afternoon stay overnight at hotel konso.
Day 6 :
Konso - Villages -Arba Minch
After breakfast , we drive nearby to visit the Konso tribes, well known for their terraces and unique villages, then visit the Konso Museum until mid-day . After lunch we drove north of Konso to Arba Minch, the capital of Gamo zone . You will be in Arbaminch by late afternoon.O/n Arbaminch hotel
Day 7 :
Excursion to chamo lake and Dorze Village
Today we will drive 12km to Chamo lake and we will have a boat trip and stay there to see the Biggest Nile Crocodile ,nature ,and different aquatic birds until mid day .Then, we drove back to the town for lunch . Afternoon , we drive 30km to see the Dorze village known by their traditional bamboo house and waving system then end of day back to Arba Minch . O/n Arbaminch
Day 8 :
Drive to Hawassa
After breakfast, we drive to Hawassa city 272 km through the beautiful road and stop on the way at sodo to see villages of wolayta and sidamo tribes and arrive at hawassa. After noon, you will visit the hawassa lake and highlights of the city .O/n Hawassa
Day 9 :
Drive to Addis Ababa
After breakfast, you will visit the Hawassa fish market then drive back to the capital Addis Ababa, on the way you will see ziway lake and beautiful birds . We will be in Addis by late afternoon . Finally , you will have a welfare program in the evening then transfer to the airport to depart home.
